The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change held the Manta
A workshop on finalizing the national draft
Environmental Quality Standards.
The meeting was opened by the Director General of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Mr. Ahmed Yusuf Ahamed
The workshop on the completion of this draft brought together the ministries partnering with the Ministry of Environment and experts, professionals, and stakeholders from different sectors of society to discuss important environmental issues.
The main objective of the workshop was to put together clear standards and guidelines for assessing and improving the quality of the environment.
Recommendations and new ideas on how to ensure that these standards are in line with international standards are also presented.
