The Environmental Law and Climate Change Policy Conference, held by Somalia’s Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, marked a significant milestone in the country’s environmental and climate governance. The event was concluded by Minister Ahmed Omar Mohamed and was the first of its kind to present the national environmental law and policies aimed at addressing climate change.
