Meanwhile, the State Minister of Health, Dr. Maryam Mohamed Hussein, shed light on how climate change has impacted the health of women and children, emphasizing the need to support programs that enhance health development and community resilience.

The conference brought together government officials, scholars, and civil society organizations with the aim of creating new strategies to encourage Somali women’s participation in adaptation and mitigation plans for climate change. The platform will serve as an opportunity to unify perspectives on sustainable solutions for the future.
