Deputy Minister Closes Green Schools Campaign

The Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, Hon. Hussein Ali Haji, officially concluded the Green Schools Campaign during a ceremony held at Mohamud Mire School in the Waberi District of Mogadishu.

The campaign, which had been running for several months, was carried out in numerous schools across Mogadishu. Its core focus was to promote environmental awareness among students and young people, encouraging them to take active roles in preserving the environment and building a greener future.

During the closing ceremony, the Deputy Minister delivered a motivational speech, urging students to take environmental protection seriously. He reminded them that the responsibility of safeguarding natural resources rests with this generation and emphasized the importance of trees, greenery, and maintaining a clean environment.

The campaign successfully inspired hundreds of students to engage in environmental action and embrace sustainability as a way of life.
