Areas expected to receive rain include Baidoa, Buur-Hakaba, Beledweyne, Jalalaqsi, and nearby locations around Kismayo and Badhaadhe.

Summary:
This year’s rainy season has been marked by delays and lower-than-average rainfall, a trend attributed to the influence of La Niña. This climate phenomenon often causes drier conditions in the Horn of Africa, leading to reduced rainfall. The ongoing impacts of La Niña highlight the need for preparedness and resilience in managing water resources and agricultural activities across Somalia.
