*International Coastal Cleanup Day*

Today, on International Coastal Clean-up Day, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change of the Federal Government of Somalia organized a large-scale clean-up event at the Xamarweyne beach.

The campaign was attended by the Mayor of Xamarweyne District, the Ministry of Fisheries and Blue Economy, the Banadir Region Sanitation Department, Ifi Waste Management Company, the Cleanliness and Environmental Awareness Campaign, Maama Ugaaso, and various youth and community organizations working on environmental protection and development. They played a significant role in cleaning the beach.

It is our duty to protect our environment and our seas, which are national assets that require collective efforts to keep clean. Thank you to all participants in this important initiative.
