*Meeting on Integrating Environmental Studies into Higher Education at Local Universities Offering Environmental-Related Subjects*

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change of the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) organized a consultative meeting on the development of environmental studies and natural resource sciences. The meeting, held at the Ministry’s headquarters, was attended by around 30 participants representing the National University Association, local universities in the Banadir region, and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, FGS.

During the meeting, key documents prepared by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, FGS, were presented, including the Environmental Management Act, the Environmental Management Policy, and the Climate Change Policy, among others.
