*Day 2, Day 3 of the Awareness Campaign Against Plastic Bags*
On the third day, our awareness campaign against plastic bags is progressing well. It was a great honor for us to have Mr. Mohamed Ali Xagaa, the State Minister of the Ministry of Security, join us in the awareness efforts today. He encouraged the protection of the environment and called for action against anything harmful to it. He motivated the public to take part in protecting the environment and safeguarding our future.
Additionally, staff from the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change of the Federal Government of Somalia are engaging with the public, explaining the importance of stopping the use of single-use plastic bags and highlighting the harm they cause to the environment and public health.
Citizens, be a part of this campaign and take an active role in protecting our environment and reviving the hope of a clean Somalia.
